Technology, with room for feeling.
InkTimber is built by engineers, designers, and makers who believe useful technology can be calm, tactile, and deeply personal.
Why we started
Our most meaningful moments are often scattered across phones, feeds, and old frames. We wanted a quieter place for those memories—and for the small pieces of information that help a day feel more intentional.
InkTimber began as an experiment in combining gentle e-ink, warm solid wood, and a playful multi-screen composition. The result is not another bright display. It is a small physical canvas for your story, your flow, your art, and your passions.
What we make
Our planned launch edition places seven 1.54-inch four-color e-ink displays inside a solid North American black walnut frame. Each screen can become part of one composition or carry its own image, reminder, or moment.
- A living album for family memories
- A calm command center for focus and daily flow
- A physical window for digital art
- A personal display for collections and passions
How we work
Our team brings together hardware engineering, software development, connected devices, AI-assisted tools, and material craft. We develop the product as one connected experience—from the feel of the wood to the way a photo moves through the app and onto each display.
We favor honest materials, focused interactions, and technology that steps back once it has done its job.
The team behind InkTimber
InkTimber is a product of Jiaxing Yiduo Power Technology Co., Ltd. Our team has long worked across integrated hardware and software products, including connected sensing, intelligent display systems, and energy-conscious electronic devices.
The product is currently in active prototype development. Final specifications, launch rewards, pricing, and production timing will be published before the Kickstarter campaign opens.
